Seniors Week 2014
This year’s range of classes cater for people comfortable with computers who have used the internet and email and who want to learn new skills. This year we are also focusing on some of the technology that has lead to enquiries at the Internet Centre in recent times including iPads and tablets. The classes will be:
Monday March 17 – Emailing with a tablet PC
Tuesday March 18 – Working with files
Wednesday March 19 – Using Dropbox to store files in the cloud
Thursday March 20 – Facebook Privacy
Friday March 21 – Computer Basics
The classes are held thanks to funding from the CTC Association and Department of Family and Community Services. The events in Grenfell are in conjunction with many events around NSW.
The Grenfell Internet Centre is also staring a Seniors Computer Club. The club will have one hour computer lessons once a week on Tuesdays for eight consecutive weeks.
People can pay for lessons upfront and receive a discount otherwise it will cost $6 per lesson. The club will commence on the March 25 and the final date will be May 13. The lessons will be to cater for all levels of computer users.
